Situated in the heart of Toronto’s “high-end” shopping district, my client’s pied-a-terre demanded a complete renovation.
The mandate was to create an approachable, family-oriented environment that reflected both warmth and understated elegance.
We established our direction after an inspired day of furniture shopping, ultimately deciding upon a contemporary-styled sofa, kick-starting the project.
I made use of neutral earth tones throughout the common areas and applied stronger, bolder colours to add further depth and balance to the private bedrooms.
Traditional interior architectural elements including custom cabinetry, panelled walls, and black and white marble tile floors harmonize seamlessly with contemporary furnishings and graphic artwork.
Having been given carte blanche from the outset, the furnished apartment was revealed to the client days before a family event. They were overjoyed with the final result.
